Game Description & Reviews:
A program made to test if your NES is working correctly. It used to be used by Nintendo Service Centers. It checks your video RAM and general RAM, highlights the buttons you press on the controllers (doesn’t let you press multiple buttons simultaneously though) and shows various example graphics, like color grids or black and white grids.
The only use I see for this ROM is if you were programming an emulator and wanted to check if you did it right. For people playing on emulators, and probably most of the owners of psychical consoles who don’t specialize in fixing them, it’s completely useless.
This game... Is the game! If you play Super Mario, and Contra, and... ANYTHING ELSE! Stop. And. Play. This. Game. The graphics are gold, the music is amazing, and most of all IT'S... a test cartridge. Yes, the totally not famous NES test cartridge. It doesn't really matter that you get this "game", because you're most likely using a emulator on a computer, so it doesn't really need to test anything.
Instant classic. Everything just works about this title. Everything it tries to do, it does it well. A must have for any NES collector - for many reasons.
