Travailius rates this game: 4/5Ah... Space quest. One of the greatest adventure games on the Pc at the time. Released in 1986 it was a groundbreaking experience. You'll need your wit, a sense of adventure, and the ability to overthink everything. The game has good control and an interesting action system (typing). Honestly, this game is fun, but frustrating at some times. You really need to think things through, look around at everything by using the "look" command use commands like "look around" or "look floor". other useful commands include "search" "view screen" "examine" "push (objects name)" "press button (often a specific button)" "talk" "buy"
useful buttons include:
left, right, up, down, enter, esc, tab (inventory)
If you find things are a bit slow, press escape and go to speed and set it to fast (NOT FASTEST its just unplayable at this speed). Remember just because you found something when searching, DOES NOT mean that you have it in you inventory!!! Remember to "take [items name" and you CANNOT forget to search around the ground all the time.
For example, there is a required item that you can overlook in the desert, its just a piece of glass, but damned if you realize that you need a tiny piece of glass to get past this one part, and you FORGET IT in the desert! Then you have to go ALL THE WAY BACK. So just remember look at the ground and pick everything up that Roger bothers to mention.
I know of one cheat code but it is only for the slot machine, and this just helps to get past a part where you need a lot of money, and get a set of 3 skull and crossbones, the slot machine will KILL YOU! So When you get to this part, and need money (you will!) simply type "holy shit" without the quotes, and you will then be able to select what set of 3 you want (diamonds make the most money).
