Game Description & Reviews:
A classic that never fails to sate a gamer's need for something to pass the time.
No load times, no lengthy cutscenes or boring storyline to hate...just pure, mindnumbing, gaming. The soothing sounds of an electronic ball hitting electronic blocks or walls...ahhh...bliss.
While it has been remade throughout the years to super-space-like levels with powerups and special effects, nothing beats the original. Have fun!
Hey, you. Yes, you.
Ever played Block breaker, Ball Blitz or something similar in your cellphone?
Well, this is where that game came from. Originally an arcade machine from Taito, this NES port is actually quite good.
Even though control is digital here instead of a trackball or analog dial, the controls are good.
The gameplay is very simple but provides endless hours of fun and frustration. Keep the ball bouncing on your Vaus (that grey bar at the bottom of the screen) and use it to break colorful bricks. Once you have broken them all, you advance to the next level. If you fail to catch the ball, you lose a life. Lose them all and it's game over. See? I told you it was simple.
There exist several power ups that will help you as the levels progressively become harder: The E makes your Vaus longer, the L lets you fire lasers, the C allows you to stop the ball and fire it again, and so on.
Enemies will appear and make your ball bounce elsewhere, so be prepared!
